Just a quick post today to introduce a new feature coming to the blog at the end of the month which is going to be called…Friday Night Drinks.

The idea is that I will have a different person on the blog each Friday for a virtual chat over whatever there choice of tipple is so we can find out more about them and their current projects.

“Good company, good wine, good welcome, can make good people.”

Henry VIII, Act 1, Scene 4 – William Shakespeare

I’m going to have a mixture of fellow bloggers, authors, editors, blog tour hosts and anyone else who is interesting who might wander into my path. So if anyone is interested in taking part, get in touch via social media or the contact page and we’ll sort something out.

I’m kicking the series off on Friday 26 October with author, blogger and activist Jennifer Gilmour, so make sure to come back and meet her then.

  1. What a great idea. I read your comment on te RNA FB page but even though it had only been up a few hours, you seem to have had a massive response and said you had enough for the time being. I’m really pleased for you but a bit sorry I missed the boat. Perhaps you’d consider me for a spot when you next need some more participants. Looking at your bio I see we’re fellow horselovers. I’ve never had land of my own but have had horses since I was a teenager. Sadly my ‘herd’ has gone from three to one now, having lost my lovely black Welsh cob Harri last year, and my little buckskin mare, Sal, a few years before, but I stilll have T’pau, my American Quarterhorse ‘mare with attitude’, enjoying her retirement and doing Monty Roberts exercises!
